Lightweight SpEVA® cushioning and durability in forefoot, SpEVA® 55 offers additional cushioning and durability. CMEVA midsole with GEL® Cushioning Systems provides maximum rearfoot and forefoot shock attenuation. The DuoMax® medial post adds stability and shores the midfoot. Trusstic System® links the rearfoot and forefoot to maintain midfoot support. DuraSponge® outsole offers flexibility and cushioning. AHAR+® heel plug helps reduce excessive wear. Wt. 9.3 oz.

Nice shoes
I switched to these shoes from the Kayanos as they were getting too expensive, and I had lost some weight (no longer the "heavy" runner I was when I had them). I have been very happy with these shoes. They are lighter and certainly less expensive than the kayanos. No injuries. I had over 490 miles on my previous 1110s before I bought this one. Still were running well, but I was getting nervous as I used to have to change shoes at 400 miles or my knees would hurt. I have to say they aren't the most attractive shoes I've ever owned, but they are excellent from a performance standpoint. Review #3
Very pleased with these shoes
I'm very please with the shoes, they are light, comfortable and seem to be durable so far. I run about 8 miles a day and so far I haven't experienced any discomfort or blisters. Review #4
great shoes
If you're serious about running, go to a reputable store (i.e. RoadRunner Sports, Fleet Feet) and try out a bunch of different models and brands. You need to find the right fit for your build, foot and gait, etc. Anyway, the Asics 1100 is my shoe. I love these and have been buying a new pair every 8-12 months for a few years now. Review #5
Good inexpensive shoe
I have just got my shoes. I have only ran once but I thought they are great for the price. They are light and provide adequate cushioning. I recommend them.
