Customer Reviews:
Review #1 Golf Shoes - Sort of!!! Not really what I expected. Should have spent more time reading the description. They leave my feet very wet after a round of golf. Next time I'll choose a brand I'm more familiar with...price influenced my decision...unfortunately. Review #2 Bites Are AWESOME I've been wearing Bite golf shoes for many years. Earlier styles were not the best looking shoe, but comfort was unsurpassed. The newer styled Aztec has it all; awesome comfort and most pleasing in appearance. Do yourself a favor, next time your looking for a comfortable golf shoe, BUY A PAIR OF BITES, YOU WON'T REGRET IT !!!! Review #3 Like Walking on Stones These shoes are not at all comfortable and would be a bad buy at any price! Review #4 Great Golf Shoe - Comfortable and functions well. Recently purchased this shoe for a steal (around $30) and found it to be a better golf shoe than what I've been currently wearing (Etonic Dri-x and Footjoy contour). Among the things I liked about this shoe:
1. First and most importantly, it fulfills the function of a golf shoe: to provide the golfer with a stable and comfortable platform to launch his swing. The cleats looks like the black widow cleats but much firmer and they really bite into the turf. This has really made a difference in my swing - being able to put my body weight into the swing without losing balance. 2. Perhaps the only gripe i haveabout the shoe was that my right foot hurt during the first 5 holes of my first round with these shoes (in part b/c i was wearing thicker socks than usual). It nevertheless broke in during the around and it has been the most comfortable shoe i've worn. I think in part b/c it is set up like a cross training shoe with ample form cushing in the heel and balls of the feet. I also love the lacing setup of this shoe - it keeps your feet firmly in place and doesn't loosen mid-round; not to mention the fact that you don't have to pull it in tight to have a secure fit.
*Do note that the leather they use is not the "smooth" kind you usually find - they use grained leather (i.e. you can feel and see the hexagonal bumps). It's definitely more rugged, although perhaps not as chic.
