Heel and Forefoot Hydroflow® provide the best cushioning system in footwear. It absorbs shock, stabilizes the foot and returns energy back to the foot, stride after stride. Soft, supple full grain leather conforms to the foot for a supportive and breathable fit. HPR, a high-density carbon rubber, in the heel for increased traction and outsole durability. Exclusive full-length S-257™ midsole decreases break by 15% while providing excellent energy return and cushioning on every stride. Dual density midsole with a larger, harder wedge-shaped EVA component on the medial side designed to stabilize the foot and minimize excessive pronation.

Brooks are the best and only shoes I wear
Brooks Addiction Walker 2 are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I am on my feet 10-12 hours per day and have been for years. Brooks Addiction Walker 2
I was told to wear Brooks shoes along with Orthotics to cure plantar facitis -- I bought the shoes from a local vendor. A year later, foot problems gone but shoes getting tattered, I decided to buy a similar shoe and I figured I could do that over the net since I already had a track record. The shoes fit great and I didn't have to deal with traffic. Review #4

Excellent shoe. I've been wearing them for about a year
and a half. I have neuromas in both feet and need the extra
wide toe box that the Men's Brooks Addiction Walker has in

Problems with heel spurs?
These were recommended to me at The Good Feet Store in Sacramento. Although a store employee and manager misled and then refused & ignored me on being able to return or exchange other shoes I purchased without telling me (and sold pretty encouragingly to a guy with painful feet who was maybe a bit too excited because I'd been wearing hiking boots for 2 years with that being their unspoken policy), these shoes I had no complaints about. I do wear them most of the time with Good Feet's orthotic inserts (about $150-200.-) but they feel great even without them. Some blue 'Superfeet' inserts work well too. I start to build up a bit of wear-pain over time but it's bearable and almost nil compared to most other brands for me currently. A great shoe for my heel spur managment.
