Brooks is now my brand for running
This is probably the best running shoe I've owned, but it likely will be my last Glycerin model unless Brooks quits making the Epiphany. I will go try that model next, as it appears to be more in line with my frame (large) and pronation factor (supinator). However, this shoe is still a very good shoe for neutral runners and has held up a little better than I expected.

My previous shoe was a Mizuno Wave Rider. That's a good shoe, but it wears very fast and doesn't hold up to a guy my size (let's just leave it at over 200 lbs.!!). Virtually all running shoes I've owned (15+) have been wearable even after I stopped running in them, but not the Mizunos. I have thrown those away. This Brooks will wear for a long time, even after they aren't fit for running.

The arch support is good, and they are very comfortable. The fit is about on, perhaps a half size or so small. Certainly nothing to complain about. The only thing two things about this shoe I don't particularly care for is the color (white shows dirt from day one; try a gray color) and the tongue is a bit short. Other than that, I have no complaints.

So, if you have a neutral gait, moderately high arches, and are only 150 lbs. (or lighter), I'd be willing to bet you'd be able to run in these shoes longer than in many shoes. I just wish Brooks made this shoe in all (or mostly) black so I could wear it in basketball officiating.
