The AL 50 may look classic, but it is new school all the way. The AL 50s have rubberized coatings on the high abrasion areas to protect them from grip tape abuse so you can kick-flip 'till the cows come home. The sole of the AL 50s are designed to improve traction for a grippy board feel you only get from C1RCA. Ciba antimicrobial is built into the inside lining of the AL 50 to cut down the funk and help maintain freshness.
