runs a little big but wonderful nonetheless.
i get soooo many compliments on these shoes. i'd tried on regular capezio character shoes in the store but they only had the 1 and 1/2 inch heels and i wanted the 2 inch. the size 9 fit me perfectly. i came here to order the 2 inch character shoes and fell in love with the look of the new yorker *only $2 more!* so i ordered them in a 9, they are a little big, i should have ordered the 8 and 1/2. they are very comfortable *unless you do a matinee and an evening show in one day, which sucked*. altogether, i love them. i'm thinking about ordering another pair to put taps on. Be careful with sizing
Contrary to another review, I found that these shoes do NOT run large. I usually wear a size 8. I ordered an 8 and found it a little too small. I recommend finding somewhere where you can try any Capezio shoes on first to check for sizing before you order a pair online. Review #3
godd but a bit uncomfortable
Good shoes to dance in, but I don't know if it is good for beginners, esp. those not used to dancing in heels. I had to buy some wool to stop my toes from hurting, as the heel does force the toes down into the tip of the shoe. I could dance in it for approx. 2-3 hours, but any more than that is murder. Runs very big
Please note that this shoe runs very large, both in length and width. I normally wear a size 6 1/2 W or 7 M and I took a 5 1/2 M in this shoe. The 7 M I originally ordered fit my friend with a size 8 foot.
