Great minds think alike, no?
I'm fifty-four and have been wearing chuck taylors for about fourty-eight years. I've generally bought either black or white, then painted or airbrushed to suit. Since I sew and have specialized machines, I even patch them when they become swiss cheesed. Whole or holey, they always catch the eye of the connoiseur. I live in northern Maine and even wear them throughout the winter. Review #2

hella cool chucks..theyre not cheap, good quality..i was satisfied and so would you be...one minor problem is that purple passion (which is the one i ordered) wasnt the exact color as the one shown...but its still cool!! i love them Review #3
not made in America anymore but HEY, what is?
I have a closet full of Chucks. I didn't have a pair in golden yellow. Now I do. I will save them for those formal occasions. Comfortable, zero arch support, I've worn them since I was kid. Why change now? For those of us who wear Chucks we know one another and can spot each other a block away. It's always a good way to start a conversation with a total stranger. In 2004 I wore my sky blue pair to Lithuania. I don't think they had ever seen a pair up close. I got some stares. I love my Chucks and I plan to buy more when I see new colors that I don't have. Purple Chucks
I enjoy my purple chucks a lot. I get lots of comments on them when I where them. It is fun to see peoples reactions.
