"Dance Now's" synthetic leather character shoe has a 2" heel, padded insoles, soft genuine leather lining and an ankle strap attached to the upper with elastic. The shank and last have been designed to maximize arch support. The strong heel counter works in conjunction with the insole shank to provide ankle stability. Taps not included. Better Than Expected
These shoes were bought for a Middle School dance class. They are very comfortable and look great. They can easily be worn for any occasion. Also, they were shipped immediately. Review #2

very uncomfortable shoe
These shoes were NOT true to size. The back kept cutting into my foot, and they were just plain tight. I bought them half a size larger than what I normally wear, and they still did not fit.... even had to buy one of those little heel pads, but that did not help. I was very disappointed. Review #4

Very comfortable shoe-- I'm not a dancer, I wear them to work often. Sizing is off, though. They run 1/2 to 1 size smaller than marked, so order up a size. Review #5
So comfortable!
I love these shoes. Purchased them for tango dance lessons and they are more comfortable than I anticipated. In fact, I wear them during the day as well. They did not need any breaking in. My only problem with them is that I usually prefer leather shoes instead of synthetic materials, but overall this is a great shoe. I would even consider getting them in differenct colors.
