Not as comfy as it looks
I saw these on a competitor website, and was so excited when I found them on Amazon for cheaper. They looked like the perfect ballet flat... and since they're made by Dr. Scholl's, a reputable company known for foot comfort, you'd think that it'd be like walking on a cloud. They sell the shoes as "feeling crazy good" but all I feel are crazy blisters.

I heeded some of the reviewer warnings and got one size up (I'm an even 6.5, I got the 7). The first day I wore them I carried around an extra pair of Ped-socks just in case. Good thing too, these shoes are uncomfortable. I agree with the other reviews, the toe-box is just too narrow. The leather is crazy hard. Also, the various points where the straps are sewn into the shoe scratch your foot inside the shoe. The top of the vamp (I think it is), right where the "toe-cleavage" ends is super painful... there is fabric there that is just rough and wears against your skin. The back of the shoe also has the rough fabric, and gave me a blister on my achilles-tendon...and all this from a shoes that was half-size up!!

Girls, if you have slightly wide feet or bunions, stay away from these shoes, you will be blister city.

I'm still wearing them with ped-socks and knee highs (under jeans) just to break them in a bit before I can go barefoot. I also put moleskin under all the 'rough points' inside the shoe to lessen the rubbing. It has helped a little bit, but not much. Further, that "memory foam" footbed that is advertised is hardly felt when you are in pain from the blisters. In fact, I might try one of those gel-inserts to see if it helps me get some height to prevent the achilles-tendon blisters (maybe that's their scam, to get us to buy more of their products). Between the moleskin, the shoes, and the inserts, Dr. S has gotten more of my money. You shouldn't go through all this trouble for a shoe.

I give it 2 stars over 1 since it is still a very cut shoe. Despite my wincing, I get compliments on them alot.

Cute shoes
Per typical shoes, these hurt the first few times I wore them I was surprised considering they are made by dr. scholls, but now they are perfectly comfortable and cute and I wear them all the time.
