Way too expensive for the product
The only reason I ordered this product was due to the slip on type of conservative shoe at a size 15. Way too expensive for what the shoe is. It felt more like plastic to me than leather and the bottom, although it appeared to have some gripping, was relativly slick. I'd look around much more before buying from this maker again.

Great Looking Comfortable Shoe for Working in aRestaurant
I purchased a pair of these in October of 2004. I operate a restaurant and walk several miles a day and wear them daily. The soles seem to not slip very much and are very comfortable. I wear and walk in them for 10 to 12 hours at a time and my feet are good! This is a great shoe for restaurant management, or for someone who walks alot. I am getting near the bottom of my tread, so I am thinking of replacing the shoes, even through the leather is in great shape. I will replace them with a another set of these Ecco shoes.

The Best Shoes You Will Ever Wear
My wife and I recently moved to New York City. I knew we were going to be doing a lot of walking, so before the move, I bought a pair of shoes that I thought would work well. After my first full day here, I wanted to toss them -- my feet were crying out in pain.

I began looking for replacement shoes. A friend told me her father had recently gone to Europe with a new pair of Ecco shoes and he didn't have any issues at all -- he thought they were excellent shoes -- comfortable, stylish, and they held up well.

I was sold. I made the trek to Macy's and immediately found the Ecco shoe display. I put the first pair of slip-ons I found and tried them on -- my feet were in heaven! They fit so well that I wore them out of the store!

Seven months (and around 400 or so miles) later, my well-loved Ecco's were starting to wear out. What did I replace them with? I didn't even THINK about another brand -- I headed straight for the Ecco's and bought a new pair of Ecco Arlanda Slip-On shoes. I love them!

If you do a lot of walking and are looking for comfortable, stylish, tough shoes, look no further. Sure, they are a bit pricier than other shoes, but I guarantee those other shoes won't feel as good or last as long under the same conditions.

ECCO's are the best for only 18 cents per day
Hands down, ECCO's are the best shoes I have ever owned. I bought my first pair in 2002 shortly before a trip from the U.S. to Russia. I wanted something lightweight, comfortable, and versatile. These fit the bill exactly. With jeans, they are casual shoes for running errands. Switch to trousers and a blazer and they work as dressier shoes. I just received my second pair as a Christmas gift after sadly wearing out my original pair (I wore them 90% of the time for 3 years straight). Don't let the price dissuade you from buying these. These shoes are so comfortable (they feel like slippers) and versatile that you'll wear them more often than any other pair of shoes so your per day cost is less than that of less versatile footwear.

Some quick math: 3 years = 1,095 days; 75% of days = 821 days. At $150 and wearing these shoes 75% of the time for 3 years, the per day cost to own these shoes is $0.18/day.
