Khombu may be for you--but I want a pair too
The box arrived early so I hurried and opened it before my wife got up. When I saw the boots, I must say I was not optomistic at all that this was something she would want to wear. Face it, they look like a cross between a space boot and Micky Mouse. And, Margaret is especially sensitive about things like that.

She didn't know I had ordered them, so when she first looked curiously down at the open box I was anxious. Surprised the heck out of me, she loved them before she even picked them up. The velcro and expanded opening in the back make them easy to put on--even for senior citizens who are a bit heavier then we used to be--and the price was right.

The day was cold and we had almost two feet of new snow--and a number of errands to run. She commented a number of times during the day how warm and dry her feet were (she really needed good boots), and loves them still. The broad footprint and soles with all those small knobs make them perfect for hard packed snow and give her a great feeling of security, and they don't track a lot of snow or slush into the house.

Now, I've never seen a Khombu for men. Have I missed something?
