Waterproof and soft
I bought this coat for my daughter to replace one she used for years. I was nervous about not being able to feel the fabric and check the fit first. I was pleased that the fabric was both waterproof and soft. It isn't crinkly like many waterproof fabrics, so my daughter is happier wearing it. The hood has a bit of elastic at the top to keep it on her head, though I wish it had a bit of a bill like many rain coats do to help keep her face dry. While it is a bit pricey, it did come with a beautiful hanger (which will help it sell at a future yard sale, I imagine) and my daughter loves to wear it, which is the best reason to spend the money.
