Leo's split-sole jazz tap shoe features a leather upper, a reinforced toe and a ¾" heel. The tap leather sole is for proper tap mounting and great sound. Leo's UltraTone taps are attached with DuraTap adjustable tap system. Dri-Lex zone insole with Ultra-Fresh keeps feet dry and eliminates odors. 3/4" heel

Sypposed to be the best.
I was told these were the best tap shoes for the money. I bought them for my 12 year old son who has a huge foot. We ordered the equivalent of a size 11 for him. They still seem a bit too snug. Other than that, they were fine. They make great tap sounds--and that's important. He used them for 8 classes and will likely use them in musical theatre (when he's not on the football field). Yes, he is well rounded. The shoes were fine. Review #2
Split Sole Jazz Tap Shoe
These tap shoes are wonderful. The Jazz top is like butter. I wouldn't use anything else now. They have a great sound as well.
