Merrell Chameleon Stretch II Women's hiking shoe
These are great hiking shoes. I don't need to wear high top boots any longer with these. I just hiked 40 miles in 4 days over Sierra Nevada terrain with a 20 lb pack and they were great. Support, traction and durability on sharp granite are all good.

Only drawback is how hard it is to get them on. You pull on the tab at the back while stepping into them and finally it snaps in place. No they are not too small, they are the correct size. A shoe horn might come in handy but who carries a shoe horn on a trip? But this is a small price to pay for the comfort, temperature control, ankle stability and traction.

The pull drawstring lacing is quick and never comes undone. You have to tuck the excess lace loop into the laces or the loop will catch on things on the trail.

I have not worn them in the city because they are hoaky and clumsy looking with most women's city clothes.

The Shipper Suck
I ordered this item on May 10th for the delivery on May 13 but it is May 16th today and still the package has not reached and they have estimated it will reach on May 22nd.If you are looking for a timely delivery or 1 or 2 days ball park...still these guyz ship VERY LATE.They dont arrannge the package to pick up until 3 mre days....these guyz suck

Best shoes EVER!
I have walked throughout London and Paris with these shoes without a problem. What is even a better endorsement is that I wear them daily to work (am an RN) patients and visitors (even in the elevator) will comment "Merrell is the best shoe I have ever owned." Fellow employees have purchased them and have not been disappointed. The Chameleon II Stretch is the most comfortable and supportive style. I have the Kangeroo color and it is nice and neutral. If you have knee joint problems they may be a bit difficult to get on at first, otherwise, perfect for all.

Love these shoes
Great shoes, very comfortable! Have just the right amount of extra support and cushion in different areas of the shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and I can wear these shoes all day and exercise in them without my orthodics and feel no pain. And they look great too...have had many compliments. Bought two pair in different colors. Will definately buy them again.
