Shoes o.k., when they FINALLY got here.
I placed my order on June 9 for a July 6 present. I was told that the shoes would ship by June 29. I always get a confirmation from Amazon co.'s when my item(s) are shipped, so when I didn't receive one by June 30, I sent an e-mail inquiring of the status. This is what they had to say:

"Since this item is shipped directly from the vendor we ask that you allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. If you have not received the merchandise by this time next week, please contact us again, so we can contact the vendor."

My husband's birthday came and went and still - no shoes. I sent another e-mail June 12. This is their response:

"We have spoken with the vendor. Unfortunately, they said they never received the order. We resent the order over, and they have advised us that they will get it shipped out as soon as they can. We do apologize for the inconvenience."

Do you believe? Either someone at Bargain Outfitters messed up, or someone at the vendor's co. messed up, but what I got was that "they will get it shipped out as soon as they can." I would think that any company who cares about their customers would have said they'd send it immediately, or they'd send it overnight shipping for no extra charge or something like that, but no - they would ship it at some ambiguous time, "as soon as they can."

We FINALLY got the slippers today, July 19. So the order that I placed for my husband's birthday almost a whole month ahead of time, didn't get here until 13 days AFTER his birthday.

The shoes were nice, but certainly not exceptional and definitely not worth all the trouble.

Still waiting
I ordered these moccassins for my father for Father's Day, over a month ago, and we have still not received them. So I can't rate them.

Perfect for Men & Women! My Feet Are in Heaven!!!
My husband bought me a pair of these Minnetonka Pile Lined Indoor/Outdoor Slippers so that I would stop stealing his "outdoor slippers" everytime I needed to take the dogs out (smile) - and these slippers are AMAZING!!! The insides are so soft that it's like being in "foot Heaven", and they are extremely well made! Plus, although it says that these are "Men's slippers", the style is such that it could easily be worn by both men & women alike.

Overall, I would highly recommend these slippers to anyone who is looking for a slipper that it's both well-made & super comfortable. You really can't go wrong with these Minnetonka's!
