Cute and comfy
I have these in the rust color (purchased for about $30), and these are the most comfortable pair of flats that I've owned. They actualy give a little bit of lift, as they are not completely flat. The ankle strap, though it has a decorative button, closes with velcro. I wish they buttoned instead, but oh well.

Overall, very cute, comfortable, and well made. I want to get the black pair if they ever go on sale.
