Bad Squeaker
I bought the shoes for my 16 month old and she loved them! I actually was going to buy them through the shoe's website, but then I noticed I could get them for free through Amazon, so I got their credit card and bought the shoes. The shoes were here two days after I ordered them, which was great. After my daughter wore the shoes for almost a month, the squeak on the left foot stopped. I don't know why. She doesn't wear them every single day, maybe three days out of the week. But still, that should not have happened. Eventhough only one shoe squeaks now, my daughter loves them anyways. I'm the one that's disapointed.

Everyone I meet loves these shoes, especially my daughter. If given the chance, she will pick her sqeaky mary janes every time. I have owned several pairs of them, from size 3-6 so far and all have stood up well. It makes my toddler easy to find when she wanders off (unless she decides to use her tiptoes), and the squeaker is easy to disable (a piece of tape over the squeaker) if it gets annoying. It is also a shoe that comfortably accomodates her wide/thick foot and is easy to remove and put on. I buy these for every baby shower I can, other parents love getting them as gifts!

Fun and Comfortable, and makes for social times
If you don't mind being asked "Is that her shoes squeaking?" a few times, you will find these shoes to provide fun and a way for you and your child to interact in a very positive way with others you come across in public. This, plus the fact that your child is easy to track in situations if they are prone to play hide and seek, then these are also valuable. They seem comforatble and well made. They are easy to take off (sometimes frustatingly easy - the kid does it all the time), and these black mary janes are easy to keep looking pretty.
