The Puma Men's Drift Cat is the takedown version of the pro motorsport boot, the Tour Cat Low, which features almost the same functions. By using the same outsole/midsole construction the Puma Drift Cat gets a little beefier in comparison, making it better suited for street wear. A soft pig suede, full-grain leather and synthetic upper combines with a non-slippery rubber outsole for comfort, support and durability.

"Puma" is the standard!
As the author of the Jefferson Airplane book "Take Me To A Circus Tent" and a former radio disc-jockey, I am often asked to write and or discuss various recordings from the 60's and 70's. As a satisfied Puma customer for well over 30 years their attention to reliability, detail, and style deserve words of praise.

In the 1970's long before every manufacturer attempted to take Puma's title for excellence, Puma had a signature sneaker called "The Clyde." Named after former New York Knick and Hall of Famer Walt "Clyde" Frazier they were the talk of the industry.

Over the decades, the competition had to change their prototypes while Puma already achieved the ultimate in customer loyalty.

The "Drift Cat" is exceptionally comfortable, sleek to the eyes and has the Puma durability. It is a perfect fit for the outdoors and the casual indoor look.

The first pair of Puma's I ever owned was replaced a year later (Still in wearable shape). All previous sneakers were lucky to hold up three months.

Sometimes change is needed and then there are companies that know a great thing. Puma has been exceptional when gas cost fifty-five cents and in a time when people rather lace up the sneaker than start their engine.
