what a shame, what a disappointment
I do a lot of walking with my job. I'm required to dress professionally although comfort is a top priority. These shoes matched my style, looked professional yet cute and from what I could tell when I tried them on, met my comfort needs. They did not need breaking in; I wore them to work and never developed a blister or sore spot in the initial phase of wearing them. They became easier to get on and off as time wore on. I've had these shoes for a little less than 3 months. It's my understanding shoes typically need replacing every 6 months with frequent wear. Because I do a lot of walking with my job, and have an assortment of professional yet stylish outfits, I own many pairs of comfortable, cute walking shoes in addition to these. So I would not say that I frequently wear these to the point that they should be wearing down already. But they are... I brushed off the fact that certain edges of the shoes were shredding it's thread within a month of buying them. Minor cosmetic defect that could be easily resolved. However, as I walking across town recently, on a rainy day, I noticed the pads of my feet felt a little wet. I turned my foot over to look at the soles of the shoes and sure enough, cracked and torn all the way through the rubber. On both feet. Torn to the point that I can pull back some of the rubber and see the lining on the inside of the shoe. What a disappointment. These are probably my favorite shoes out of my shoe collection and they've already met their doom. I've decided I will no longer be purchasing rocket dogs. There are plenty of other reputable shoe brands with a similar style. I could understand if I'd have paid $20 for them, but not $50. What a shame...
