The Rockport Men's Beckington Slip On Loafer is a comfort rubber soled penny-loafer. The genuine handsewn construction provides slipper-like comfort. For work or play, these are a winner. The Dynamic Suspension system (DMX) is a foam chamber on the bottom of an EVA footbed that provides dynamic air cushioning and sensation. It features a removable footbed, a full grain leather upper is easy to clean and maintain, a fiberlon shank support that provides lightweight midfoot support, and is airport friendly.

I Can Only Speak For Myself
I see there are a few reviewrs who are disappointed with these shoes for reasons of incorrect fitting. I can't speak for anyone other than myself. I just wore my new pair today. Like any loafer I've ever purchased, the fit is somewhat snug initially. It really should be, otherwise they would be flopping off your feet within a week. I did a lot of walking and was on my feet for a full ten plus hours. The verdict, I have zero complaints with the fit. I'm sure after a few more wears and a bit of stretching these Rockports will prove as comfortable as all my other Rockports. Like I said I can oly speak for myself.

A little hard to slip on, but once on, they're fine
After reading the other reviews about the shoes being too narrow, I ordered a 12W instead of my normal 12M. Big mistake. The wider shoe felt like they slipped off my feet when I walked. So I promptly returned them and ordered the 12M. Although the 12M is a little hard to slip on, once on, they're very comfortable. I also purchased a pair of Rockport Downtown's and noticed that those were also a little snug getting on as well. I think this is just how Rockport's are designed in general. After you've worn them for a week, they stretch (the leather is very soft) and form fit to your feet for a perfect fit.

Rockport Slip-on
I wear a lot of Rockport shoes. Almost exclusively. I was very disappointed in these shoes. They are the same "size" as all of the other Rockports I have, yet they are too small!

Try fit at a store before buying online.
Can't even get my foot into the shoe. I don't have a high arch and always wear a standard shoe size. This shoe must be designed for somebody with an inverse arch.

Rockports with poor fit
I have worn Rockport size 10 1/2 loafers for many years. So I had no qualms about ordering them online. These loafers did not fit and seemed to be at least one size too small. I returned them and went to the store and bought them - size 10 1/2.
