A True, "Cool" Slip-On?
I was introduced to Royal Elastics at a trendy shoe store in Old Town, Pasadena about 5 years ago. I was re-introduced during a walk through Haight-Ashbury about a year later. Royals are now the only athletic/casual shoes I wear (and collect!)

Made using a single band that runs through the entire shoe, these are not your Grandpas slip-ons. (The lack of Velcro is another clue...)

Suprisingly supportive, Royal Elastics have just enough give to expand throughout the day. Now if they could just make belts that did that, middle-age would go a lot smoother.

The White Icon (w/Green Fluer) will remind you of the original Stan Smith Adidas; flat, with a rounded toe box and just a little extra width. With Royals however, green and white are just one of many color combinations.

And finding Royals on Amazon has given support to my bank account. I've saved an average of over 25 bucks per pair...not counting gas, parking, and time.

For a old shoe-dog like me thats a couple hundred dollars a year-easy.
