Comfort and style for those of us who are on our feet all day. These were inexpensive, worth every penny!

A nice shoe, but not all that.
I, (reviewer's wife), bought these shoes for myself last December after reading some of the Amazon reviews on them. The reviewers claimed they had a "extra wide toe box" and an "ultra-squishy insole" and great arch support. I am 8.5W with high arches.. I usually have to go to a size 9, and then use insoles and/or arch support inserts or my feet will hurt. Due to the owners' rave reviews, I decided to buy a pair, at 8.5 regular.

When I got them in the mail, they arrived in about a week after I placed my order. I got them out of the box and they were super cute. However, I tried them on - they were too narrow and pinched my toes, and the insole and arch support were comparable to what I could purchase at Payless for $16.99.

I decided to return them.

If you buy them - they *are* cute, and have good tread, but don't expect supreme comfort, and order your true size.

It's a miracle--an attractive sneaker
Most sneakers these days come in two varieties--they're huge athletic clod-hoppers for teenieboppers, or they're white keds or orthotic shoes for old ladies.

This sneaker is the best compromise on the market today. It's youthful without being for the young. Light-weight, low-profile, wide enough for a thick sock, and it'll get you compliments everywhere you go.

My first pair is in black, and wow, they are stylish. Today I wore them out shopping, and my back started hurting before my feet did. My one objection is this supposedly 'squishy' foot bed. I don't know if my shoes were missing that part or what, but I found the sole to be hard and inflexible. They were still _comfortable_ but it wasn't like putting your feet on pillows or anything.

If you do prefer a squishier footbed, I recommend a thin insert, so as not to squish your toes. I'm not sure if they would perform well for athletics--I'm going to be saving mine for errands and casual nights out, but I want these in every color!
