Cute shoes, disappointing service
I am a loyal Amazon customer, but the way the ordering of these sandals was handled is disappointing. I processed my order and it went through, so I assumed they were in stock. Boy, was I wrong! About a week later I got a postcard in the mail saying "sorry to disappoint you, but these shoes are out of stock." Why wasn't I alerted about this when I placed the order? If they are not available in my size then that size should be removed. It's frustrating to think the shoes are on the way, only to be told that they are not in stock and probably will not ever be.
In the end, I went to another site and ordered the shoes for 5 dollars cheaper and free shipping & handling. The sandals are very flattering, and I'm glad they are, considering the trouble I went through purchasing them. Review #2

Item great, Seller Poor
I have bought three of these skecher Cali sandals from THREE different companies, Sketchers, Bealls (Florida) and now FOGDOG.The shoes are great, they are lightweight and durable.I wear them with everything from shorts, jeans to dresses and skirts.I am dissappointed with one part of this purchase. The shipping costs for FOGDOG are ,by far the highest for the same item. These shoes weigh the same yet FOGDOG charges an initial shipping charge of $ 5.49? plus 0.70 cents per pound. These sandals do not make two pounds, but I was charged upwards of $7.00 plus dollars. My last email to FOGDOG went unanswered and all the others were Patronizing and ridiculous. Shipping was close to a third of the cost of the shoe. I WILL NEVER order from this company again! I rather do a little more research and find a store that has reasonable and explainable rates for high shipping costs and responds to their customers, hoping they care enough about them to have them return for more purchases. Obviously, with this company one purchase is enough. We'll see how long it takes for delivery.I have not yet received my "HEAVY" shoes as defined by shipping charges. For that price one of it's employees should be delivering the shoes straight to my door.Shame on FOGDOG, GO SKETCHERS! Z :) Review #4
Awesome
These shoes are so comfortable and have gotten several compliments on them. You can wear them with just about anything and go just about anywhere with them. I have even worn mine in the lake water and they stay looking as good as new.
