The Viejo men's sandal from Teva® combines a multi-sport Virbram® Utility outsole with a luxurious waterproof leather upper. The compression-molded EVA midsole provides excellent cushioning, and the encapsulated Shoc Pad in the heel evenly transfers the energy of impact throughout the footbed and away from your heel. This energy return actually provides greater spring with each forefoot push-off.

My feet are happy.
This is the first pair of Tevas I have ever owned. The past 8 years I have been exclusively wearing Clarks when it came to sandals. I thought I would give Teva a whirl and am very happy to date. They are very comfortable as well as durable on all sorts of walking surfaces.
The real test will be how long these will last before the material rots and the pair begins to stink. I plan on revisting this review when this happens (hopefully no less than 5 seasons of use).
