Customer Reviews:
Review #1 Excellent Product I wanted to get a good pair of sandals for a while now. I was looking for something which has a trendy looks and also convinient for an everyday usage. This was an exact match to what i was looking for. It is very convinient and the colors are amazing. Definitely grabs attention. Very soft on the insole. It even has vents on the insloe for air movement.
The only reason i gave a 4 star is the pricing. It could have been $20 less considering the fact that even the top of the line shoes (like Nike or New balance) cost a little less than what you pay for this sandal. Review #2 review of sandals EVERYTHING WENT WELL. THE SERVICE AND DELIVERY WERE GREAT AND TIMELY Review #3 Someone should have tried wearing them before they started manufacturing I'm torn on these. They are very close to the perfect sandal, but really suffer from a poor heel fit and an very inconvenient entry system
First the pros: -Fits well - the wraptor really causes it to stay put, even when running -Relatively lightweight for the toughness -Sole is very sticky -I like the firmness of the bottom - you don't feel the jagged rocks like on some sandals -Love the big toe guard. Can't tell you how many bloody toes I had with my old sandals... plus the front is still relatively open, so you don't have the "spoon effect" (not to mention the heat box) of Keen shoes
Cons -I hate the back. My old Tevas had a back strap that was only connected to the "arch" that goes over the front of the foot. As such, this back strap basically floated, and moved naturally with my heel. This back is connected directly to the bottom of the shoe. This results in the heel moving, but not the strap - read: hot spots. If I really crank down on the straps, this movement is reduced, but not eliminated. (I know this description is tough to follow... look at the back of this shoe compared to normal TEVAs and you'll immediately see what I mean
- Whoever designed the top buckle enclosure needs to be dragged out behind a barn and beaten with a bag of soap while trying to put the shoes on and get out in a hurry... I like to just slip my shoes on. These you have to hold the front and back pieces, wiggle your foot into place, find the strap, buckle it. To get a good fit, you might have to rip the velcro apart, resize, put the velcro back. And if it is a tight fit, you will need to undo the velcro before you are able to snap the buckle into place the next you try to put the shoes on, because it won't close. (putting on sandals should never require one to sit down!) The worst part is that the perfect solution already exists... ON THIS VERY SHOE! Look at the front of the sandal. You see that little sliding locking system thingy? you just pull the loose end and it gets tighter, You pull the little plastic piece and it gets looser. So easy you can do it balancing on 1 foot. Would have been way more convenient, speedy, and probably would have given a better fit.
- The front strap is not needed... seems like they were looking for an excuse to put on another cinching strap... for as often as I would adjust it, a velcro strap would have been lighter, easier, and more comfy
Despite the fit/convenience problems I really like these sandals...
