Painfull
Ordered over the internet. It was the right fit, but it simply generated too much pain on the points on my ankles in both feet. From what I gather, this problem is not unique to this boot, but many short boots at that 4 inch level. The boot itself was solid and very well put together. It was technically just what I wanted, but after trying to break it in for 2 days in the house I had to send them back. That leather top rim you see on the boot was just too unforgiving.

The vendor was outstanding regarding the return and refund. No problems with them.

I got a 6 inch boot later and now I don't have the problems around the ankles.
