Stout Boots
Western Chief boots are made by the Washington Shoe Company, and produced in China. The full grain leather on these boots look and feel like quality. The insole that comes with the boots are of average comfort. The laces are very cheap, and should be replaced. The stitches are faily low quality, but will likely last for years. The product picture is inaccurate when compared to the boots I just received. The tongue appears to go well over the top of the boot, and the kiltie appears to reach more that half way up the boot laces. My boot comes with a tongue that sits about 1" below the top of the boot. The Kiltie actually stops at the last eyelet. These boots will definitely need generous break in time. Overall a decent boot for the price.
