Best walking sandals - period!
I am a "shoeholic" so believe me I have tried every kind of shoe! Wolky is the only brand of walking sandal that I will buy now. I bought my first pair of Wolky sandals over 10 years ago and they still look and feel great! I have at least a dozen pairs now, and the Avallon is my absolute favorite, so much so that I bought it in 5 colors! They look great with everything from shorts to sundresses, very stylish (does not scream 'comfort shoe' like so many do). My feet are normal width except across the toes they run wider and this shoe allows a perfect fit without any rubbing. The best thing about the velcro adjustment is that if you are on your feet all day, you can make them larger to accomodate any swelling that happens during the day. I wore these for 12 hour days in Disney World including torrential downpours, and my feet never hurt. Excellent support. The airport scanner wanted to know where to buy them for his wife because he could see the double steel rod supports in the sole and knew that is the mark of a high quality sandal. The leather is good quality, soft yet sturdy, and uniform in color. My brown pair was worn every week for 2 years and they still look great! Get these while you can, they are the best!
