not as comfortable as other Clark sandals
Like another reviewer, I love Clarks shoes. This style is very cute but not as comfortable as several others I have purchased - especially across top of my toes. Review #2
Wrong Shoe Shipped
The product was shipped very quickly. This is the only positive thing I can say about my experience with Amazon and the vendor, "Shoes on a Shoestring" that was used to purchase the shoe. First, I ordered a black Ladybelle shoe. I received a red shoe, in what appeared to be a completely different style of Clark shoe. So I returned the item to exchange for the correct item. I received no correspondence from Amazon or Shoes on a Shoestring. Then I discover a refund on my credit card for the amount, minus shipping of course. I called Shoes on a Shoestring. It seems they were out of stock of my original order and refunded me the amount. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication between Amazon and the vendor. I was also poorly kept in contact regarding the outcome of my order. I had to initiate all contact. I will work w/ Amazon again, however I will not work with Shoes on a Shoestring again. I believe their quality of service is poor. Review #3
Clarks makes a great shoe
I am very pleased with this product. I have heard raves about Clarks brand from my chiropractor and now I believe it. The sandals run a little big so I think an 8.5 or an 8 would have sufficed for me. I have a wide front foot and a narrow heal and I have no arch in my foot whatsoever. The clarks shoes provide great support that one would find normally in a closed heal and toe shoe. I have never been able to comfortably wear sandals due to my flat feet (most sandals my feet would just spill out over the sides and I was not only in pain but self conscious) but I absolutely love Clarks. As with all shoes, until you break them in a little they may rub a few blisters. I had one red spot on a couple of my toes but it was nothing severe. Until you know for sure how a new shoe is going to rub your feet, just be prepared and take some small bandaids or blister pads with you on an all day outing. The shipping and packaging was wonderful. I had ordered an 8.5 size in this sandle and then an 8 in another clarks sandal and couldn't tell much of a difference. I kept them both. I had planned to return the pair that didn't fit as well but I didn't need to. Review #4
Comfy sandals for the price!
These are my first Clarks and I find them very comfy! Tried them on as soon as I came from work (w/ swelling feet and all) and they were sooo good that I almost forgot to take them off. Bought in black and will be ordering another one in a diff color. Good that it was on sale too! One great buy! Review #5
I LOVE CLARKS
I love Clarks. However, I was a bit disappointed in this style. I noticed some pinching on the side of both feet due to the strap going across the top of the foot being too tight. I loosened the strap by using the first hole. Unfortunately, this still didn't take away the pinching. The strap is still too tight. It's a good thing the strap is long enough so that I have another hole punched in that will loosen the strap even more.
I don't like buying shoes and then having to pay to adjust them. But I do notice that when the strap is loose enough there is no pinching.
I am not discouraged from buying more Clarks. I have two other pair and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.
