Very comfortable
FlowPak first feels a bit strange. But once you are used to it, this is a very comfortable and sound shoe.

DMX FlowPak just a lump of air under my foot.
I've worn Rockport ProWalkers for at least ten years. A week ago I bought the new Astride ProWalker with the DMX FlowPak technology. While they felt okay in the store, after wearing them for a few hours my feet began to hurt where the DMX FlowPak is located (just below the balls of my feet). I've worn these shoes for a week now and they continue to hurt my feet. This "revolutionary" DMX FlowPak is nothing but an air pouch in the sole of the shoe. Nothing about it "flows" as I walk. These are the most uncomforable ProWalkers I've ever owned. I'm going to try to return these shoes, but my shoe store has a no return policy. I've contacted Rockport customer service. We'll see what type of response I get.

Your size is the most inportant !!!
Nice and good looking shoe, but you have to be sure what your size is; or you could be annoyed by unfriendly noise under you feet while you walk.

Have worn Rockports exclusively for 15 years with nary a problem. No break in needed.

Rockport equals comfortable and light and stylish. It is exactly what you would expect in a walking shoe. If you have wide feet as I do, this is a product you want to try out, see the results, and stick with it for qualtiy, comfort, and longevity.
