The stitched "T-strap" design by Capezio has a leather upper, 2" wrapped leather heel and scored leather sole. It has a tapered vamp, suede sock lining and heel counter, and arch cushion. Excellent character or tap shoe. Taps not included.

If you're buying these dancing shoes for street wear, read on:
I bought these shoes for everyday "street" use because another reviewer said that is what she did. I am not a dancer.
The soles are pure leather and look as if they would wear out fast if you wore them on the street. In my opinion, they need rubber soles glued to the bottoms by a shoe repair shop or they will wear out too quickly.
Also, there is a little nail tapped into the heels to hold the pieces of leather soles on. That nail head might mar or scratch some types of flooring! These shoes are very well-made from full-grain leather. These are great shoes! True to size. They are worth taking to a shoe repairman and getting rubber soles attached if you are buying these for everyday street wear. They're so pretty, feminine, sturdy and comfortable! They go with everything. These shoes were designed and intended for dance and not street wear but I wanted to at least feel like a dancer even if I am not one. Review #2
T Strap Character shoes
These are awesome shoes. I am actually wearing them as everyday shoes, not for dance! They are the most comfortable shoes, especially for someone who is on her feet all day as a teacher! My collegues have given me compliments on them and are thinking of purchasing somethemselves. Well worth the money.
