Incredibly comfortable, best sizing out there, and can be remanufactured
Allen Edmonds makes the best men's dress shoes in the United States, bar none, and if you're unfamiliar with them there are three things you need to know. First, while their sizes range from tiny narrow (7B) to big wide (15EEE), their real cache is in the big and wide area where they make some of the very few dress shoes that will truly fit larger feet. Second, they are also incredibly comfortable even with leather soles; the rubber option on some models (like this Bergland) are equivalent to a good quality walking shoe. Finally, and most importantly, most shoes can in fact be recrafted by the factory for around $100, so while these may demand a premium in the short term a good pair of these will last you twenty years if you treat them well. (Only shoes I've had problems with recrafting were some suede ones and boat shoes, unfortunately.)

As far as the Bergland, I have this lathe in a couple of shoes, and it's a very comfortable rubber soled shoe with easy to wax leather that provides (for AE) a rather nice finish. As long as you polish the outer lip of the sole in black, no one will notice you're wearing a dress shoe that doesn't have a leather sole.

Highly recommended, especially when Amazon chops off half or more of the price.
