I love the shoes because I know at all times where my son is going. He loves the shoes because he likes the noise. We could not get him to walk even though he knew how. These shoes encouraged him to walk. Now everyone at his daycare calls him squeakers. We do not go anywhere with out the shoes and would never buy a different brand for a mobile toddler. Review #4
Perfect for Toddler!
These shoes have a squeak built-in to the sole, and actually emit a squeak (similar to a dog's or baby's toy) as they walk. It makes walking fun and interesting for them, and as a parent, you can hear when your toddler is on the go.
I would visit the Pip squeakers website for specific sizing info. The brown ones that we ordered seem to run a little small, but fit just fine. The squeak is loud, but not ear-piercing, and you want it loud enough in order to hear your little one. Pip Squeakers does sell a shoe with a softer squeak and wide width versions. The velcro (as any parent of a toddler or baby knows) really comes in handy. The soles are flexible and not too thick. These shoes seem to have designed especially for all the current recommendations for baby's-toddler's shoes. I plan to order a couple more pairs since they are quite affordable. Customer service was excellent. I had a very positive experience over all. Hope this helps in your decision!
